I would like to fix any mistakes in the formula but I need your help for that. Could you tell me which specific mistake you have experienced? Alternatively you could send your filled out version of the sheet with the error in it to the emailadress provided in the Contact section of the Sheet so I can try and find the issue there. Any sims in my legacy household located in Windenberg, therefore, would never be able to complete it. That is my own personal solution, anyway. I was surprised at how quickly you updated your scoresheet. I also fixed the issues YuuAnn mentioned. I did decide to leave the City Native Aspiration on the sheet because some people might decide to still try to complete the Aspiration by only cheating past the impossible goals.
But I think I will put that idea on hold until the official rules are updated and the new Handicaps are announced. You work so quickly! Can you check this out? There was a small error in the formula of the generator that caused the problem. It should be fixed now. Wow your version is amazing and must have taken you a pretty decent amount of time to create.
HillieE you scorecard is awesome! I took another trait to count it as 1 but hope you can change it. From the start i love your scoresheet and also love the pictures by overview. Hi HillieE! I really love your tracker! Cant wait to see how you update it for vampires! Additionally I just wanted to make you aware of a little something however not major that I noticed.
If you select all the expansion packs and game packs and etc, one of them Im not sure which glitches the trait generator however this is avoidable by not selecting expansion packs But I was curious if that impacts whether or not the traits for those packs get randomized.
Hi Alex, I fixed the issue you mentioned. The updated version including the Vampire Game Pack should be available for download now. A new version of my scoresheet including the new Vampire content should be live now I am experiencing some internet problems so it might not have updated on Dropbox. On the Legacy score sheet created by Pinstar, not all traits are included under the exemplar drop down box. My exemplar trait is to be Kleptomaniac, but it is not there. I just started my first Legacy Challenge!
Thanks so much for your scoresheet HillieE! Two questions: 1. Or should I just put one in each collumn? If you leave one empty it will not recognize the child as eligible. It does not matter which trait you put in which collumn for founders and spouses. Very nice work. Also very nervous because my dry-run at this challenge got me triplets before the couple even had a roof over their heads — literally. Some long nights there! Gotta watch those demons every second! Hillie, the scoresheet is great the only thing that I see that you might want to add is Vampire to the Family Species chart. You have Human and Alien, why not Vamps too? I love your sheet and it has been an asset to me during my legacy challenge. Thaxs for all your hard work and the time that you put in doing this. I know it took awhile and it is hard. I just started my Legacy Challenge. I am having a problem though with the tracker. How do I add all three of the adult traits to my sims on the tracker? Am I missing something? Just add one of your adult traits to each collumn. All traits are present in each drop down list. I just want to say many thanks for your spread sheet!
A quick question, will you make an update when seasons comes out? I intend to update it for seasons. I hope to get it done this weekend. They have been added as well. It now includes the content from the StrangerVille Pack and some missing content from the Get Famous Expansion new social events. Basically when I scroll that tab of Excel, the pictures stay stationary but I can see the section for inputting data scrolling underneath them. If you have any insights on why this might be happening or how to fix it I would appreciate it!
This is a test reply — maybe my message is too long? I am a big fan of your tracker HillieE! I will be posting more than one comment, because it will not accept my full post for some reason. The error in the formula for the suggested role column resurfaced for me. Base game with RG pack. On the old sheet, there was an error starting at row 30, and copying the formula from row 29 fixed the error. Unfortunately, the new error seems to be in the whole column. It will correctly handle designating the primary spouse and cadet spouses and children if I mark the heir, but seems to be an error handling the exemplar trait rule.
To see the error, just use the exemplar trait rule, enter a Founder with the exemplar trait and a Primary Spouse, then enter a couple of children with or without the exemplar trait. The suggested role will throw the error.
If the heir is alive and in the household, and none of the children have the exemplar trait, they should all be marked Potential Heir. If one has the exemplar trait, should be marked Heir. If more than one has the exemplar trait, the oldest should be marked Heir. Photography is available as a skill in the base game. I think the update patch for GF added it to the base game.
So, Photography should be included in calculations in the Knowledge tab. It counts correctly if you use the custom rules to force photography. Knowledge tab — Toddler skills are counted in the total number of skills, but are not added in the percentage completed calculations. I think this is because you are using 23 as the base number of skills. It should be 28 29 if you add Photography to the base skills. Issue 3 was fixed in the last update excluding Photography.

You could give it a try and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice. The prospect of having to type everything in by hand again is daunting. But, for instance, you can use your mouse to highlight what you entered in the Genealogy tab, from Generation to Spouse, then copy, go to the new sheet and put your cursor in the first cell under Generation and paste. I tried to translate the spreadsheets made available, but as the formulas are hidden, it is impossible to do it right.
Is there any way to make a spreadsheet with the formulas available to me? That might be something to ask the individual spreadsheet creators.
I would suggest you make a copy and work on the copy so you can go back if anything messes up. It seems so promising but whenever i go to open it it says that the file is corrupt. Is this my own issue or is it the actual spreadsheet. I do have Dropbox installed on my computer. Tips, anyone? Thankful for any help! I love this scoresheet but I can not use the latest version in Microsoft Excel App as it is to large.
The Get famouse version are 1, kB and this last one is 5, kB. I guess it will be paper and pencil for the Island living scores for now. Is there any idea of when there will be any sheet updates for Discover University? In HillieEs scoreshets in the Family section under trivia numbers for spelcaster in the family is not ther. I have some issues though : The spellcaster is not listed as race and for a reason all my childs are non-eligible. That only happens with the strict equality rule.

This also applies in the case of all sims being female. With strict equality, if your heir is male, then your next heir must be female, and then male again, and so on. I have an issue with genealogy in new HillieEs scoresheet.
I thought the reason was copying genealogy from the sheet I use now, but i have the same trouble even if I do all the job manually. What did I do wrong? Thank you so much for sharing. I have a question, can you check off an obtained skill more then once in the knowledge category? For example, my founder completed level 10 of the cooking skill but one of my primary spouses completed level 10 cooking, gourmet cooking and mixology to gain the point in the food category.
I am concerned that if I have the founder and spouse showing that they both obtained cooking skill level 10 then the calculator would add that as an additional independent skill. So therefore, some info about the sim coud be missing and that may be the reason for this effect. So, I guess one skill is missing for the base game. The missing skill also affects the other rules e. By replacing A18 with D18 everything is fine. Ignoring not completing the aspiration should be alright.

If you are Patriarchy and not STRICT Patriarchy, then the female child could still be heir as if there are no males, you would go to the oldest non-male heir. Hope that makes sense! Yeah you can harvest stuff from all over the neighborhood. My second generation just aged up and I have a question about marrying a Townie not from an established family. Are we allowed to marry someone that might have skills already? Is there a minimum amount of children per generation that we must have?
The cheat that decreases their hunger, exhaustion, and such. Actually no cheats are really allowed except move objects and things that change the look of the game. You can, however, move them onto their own save file if you wish. The exception is when they fully complete an aspiration.
Can I choose the new aspiration I want after completing the first? Or if, for example, another sim completed the second aspiration that I want to choose before, is it forbidden? Does it count in the score? Is there ant rules for weather a child that is only related to the founding father and not his wife can become the heir?

You can change their appearance in a mirror to have different colored hair. As far as I know there is no way to get them to be born with other hair colors. Quick question. Also, can you use the gender influence cheat fruit eating in the Legacy Challenge, or do you have to just roll with whatever you get? The REAL challenge is lack money, and depending on how difficult you make selecting an heir, getting the correct child to pass your stuff down to. I actually discussed this in a post a while back.

So my sim bought the 64 x 64 lot in Windenburg. Then I can move the barriers in the bedroom and have her sleep there. What do you guys think? So for the holidays I got several of the new titles associated with Sims 4 and of course with the addition of toddlers, who could resist starting a new multi-generational family. Whenever there is an issue with the game that is preventing you from progressing with the challenge then you can use loopholes like that to fix it.
I think you mentioned using lot traits was okay. Is there no restriction for those? Maybe change them only once a generation or having to pick at least one negative trait, something like that.

In any case, I have a few questions that were not really covered in the rules. Can drinks made at a bar but NOT consumed be sold for a profit? Can a sim elect to become a vampire through game play? Befriending Vlad which is, by the way, nearly impossible.
The man is incorrigible. Can the items made by going to work with your sims be used? I refer specifically to the cloning device scientists can make. Just curious. Then purchased the suit of arms I actually love the idea of legacy families being noble. My gave get laggy on larger lots… is this acceptable? Though I am unsure of the cloning machine. Is that allowed. Yes they can be vampires, but since they are immortal you will eventually need to figure out what to do with the older generations as the house gets too crowded move them out, kill them off, etc.
You can select it where you change the agespan settings. It would be awesome if you were to create rules for a alphabet legacy challange. I also think it would be cool if you were to add more points to the legacy challange for simmers that would like to make it even harder. Thanks in advance. Vampires are allowed and count for legacy progression. They will earn your family points just like everyone else. Or you can move other people out if you want to keep them around.
I have to add hte child wiht me. I will use console commands to remove the funds. Dowry: Have you ever wondered how cruel it was to kick out non-heirs to fend for themselves, with nothing to their names? Worry no more! This creates a curious dilemma: the more sims you have in a household, the faster you amass points, and you have more fail safes in the event your heir meets an untimely end.
But to make room for newborns, you inevitable have to send some of the sims on their way, losing money in the process. I believe this will create a lot of interesting situations to explore. Of course, death is a much cheaper alternative, but for the purpose of this challenge, I will never intentionally kill a sim.
I think these are great supplemental rules! I finished the challenge a year ago, and completely enjoyed it. My sims maxed out their funds somewhere around gen 5, and money was not an issue at all.

I have just started the legacy challenge and i have not seem this anywhere, but can you have twims during this challenge? My first Sims Legacy. I will be using Sims 4. It is basically a redo of all of the different lots using content from all of the different packs instead of just the base game and which ever expansion the world came with.

Yes there is! But you can download it and save it on your hard drive to use whenever you need it. I started playing Sims 4 about a year ago and never knew there was challenges.
How do you start a challenge? Like is it an actual challenge that marks progress or is it just something you do on your own? These challenges are not implemented in the game in any way. You track the points on your own we have scoresheets for that in the Scoresheets section. They are purely for fun and to add more difficulty to the game, but there is nothing that you need to change in the game to play it. You can learn more about that here. Nope, she wins one million. So not only is her aspiration now done and me turning her into a hard worker was for nothing, now I have way more money than I could even need. So, um, can I use a cheat to get rid of all those winnings?

I was wondering if it was okay to use it. I know the lot size affects the bills which adds to the challenge, but is there perhaps some form of alternative I could use to affect my funds so that I have to earn enough to afford the Knight of the Octagon Table Suit of Armor before starting the challenge normally? Does this matter in my legacy? I just want to do a basic one to get the feel for the play style. I wanted to play with the feel that my sim is homeless and living out of a tent until she can afford an actual home. Are pets allowed to be with your founder? Seems a pretty lonely existence otherwise and I just see the pet adding an additional layer of challenge. Yes, you can adopt a pet right off the bat, just be aware that it might make things more difficult as you need to make sure the pet stays fed and happy.
I will be trying to follow all the rules which can be found here. They should stay in your family inventory at least until after the founder dies.

For instance, the MC Cleaner allows you to run a basic clean through the game, which lets you get rid of homeless ghosts and force alien disguises. You can also set default make-up options for when your Sims age up.
However, earlier versions of The Sims 4 are not supported by this mod utility. The installation of this program is a piece-of-cake, especially for those who have prior experience in installing a Sims mod. As mention above, the MC Command Center module is always required , unlike other modules that can be an additional option for you.
You should ensure that all modules and packages you want to access are placed in one same folder. Make sure that it is not one level deep in the Sims 4 mod folder structure. When you are doing an upgrade, you must delete all MCCC TS4script and package files before downloading the new versions and extracting them into your mod folder.
